High Hopes for 2015 Combined Ray White Gold Coast Commercial Auctions

Australasia’s largest real estate group Ray White will hold its first combined commercial property auction of 2015 on the Gold Coast next month following strong success for the events in 2014.

Ray White Commercial Senior Director Auctions and Investments, Richard Impiombato, said four auction events last year featuring properties from the group’s Gold Coast commercial offices generated sales of more than $25 million.

“Ray White’s combined Gold Coast commercial auction events were held for the first time in 2014 and we were thrilled to see 62 per cent of properties sold under the hammer,” Richard Impiombato said.

“The events at the Gold Coast Convention Centre attracted tremendous interest and 27 out of 43 properties sold under the hammer or prior to auction.

“There were several notable sales over the four auctions with a top price achieved of $3.6 million, while there were two $3.5 million sales.”

Ray White Commercial Gold Coast Director Greg Bell said there were already almost 20 properties listed for the next auction on February 26.

“We are expecting an order of sale of some 25 properties for the first combined Ray White Gold Coast auction of 2015,” Greg Bell said.

“These combined commercial auctions at the Gold Coast Convention Centre are fast getting a following from prospective purchasers.

“Our offices at Ray White Commercial Robina, Ray White Industrial M1 North, Ray White Commercial Southport, Ray White Industrial Gold Coast, Ray White Commercial Coolangatta/Tweed Heads, Ray White Commercial Burleigh and Ray White Commercial Gold Coast have embraced the events.

“Many of the sales that were achieved at last year’s events were on properties that had previously been for sale, or lease, for a lengthy period.”

Ray White Commercial Robina CEO Scott Burgess said his agency had a number of exceptional investment opportunities up for sale on February 26.

“Several of our vendors who have seen the sales achieved from the 2014 auctions have listed their properties with prospects of the same level of buyer activity,” he said.

The auction will be held from 11am (AEST) on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at the Gold Coast Convention Centre, Broadbeach.
