Scott Burgess

Scott Burgess is the Chief Executive Officer and co-owner of Ray White Robina, one of the Gold Coast’s largest and most highly awarded real estate businesses.

Following a career in sales and property development, Scott and his brother Grant acquired Ray White Robina in 2006. At the time, the business comprised just eight team members. Under their leadership, Ray White Robina has undergone a significant transformation and today has a team of more than 60 real estate professionals across residential sales, property management, commercial sales and leasing, project marketing and associated property services.

Scott’s leadership and contribution to the Ray White Group was recognised at the 2023 Ray White Queensland Annual Awards when he received the Max White Award, the group’s most prestigious individual award in Queensland. Presented annually, the award recognises the individual who has made the most significant contribution to the Ray White Group in Queensland.

In presenting the award, Ray White recognised Scott’s leadership in building an enduring business from challenging beginnings, together with his reputation for being calm, honest, loyal and structured, and his ability to listen, find solutions, build market share and lead people.

The Max White Award followed many years of recognition for both Scott and the Robina business. Scott has been recognised as a Chairman’s Elite Business Leader for seven consecutive years from 2019/20 through to 2025/26, placing the business among the upper echelon of the Ray White network.

While the awards reflect the performance of the business, Scott attributes Ray White Robina’s longevity and success to its people and culture. A number of team members have built long-term careers within the organisation, helping create the stability, experience and depth that has allowed the business to continue growing.

From eight people in 2006 to more than 60 today, Scott has remained focused on building a sustainable business rather than simply a high-performing sales office. His approach has centred on developing people, maintaining strong systems and standards, embracing change and continually expanding the level of service available to clients.

After two decades of ownership, Ray White Robina has evolved into a substantial multi-disciplinary real estate business and remains one of the most recognised offices within the Ray White network.
